We made our usual stop at Vague Kobe — a little ritual whenever we’re in the Kansai area — and this time caught French Mingei, an exhibition curated by Nicolas Trembley. The show explored the meeting point between French everyday objects and the Japanese Mingei philosophy, offering a thoughtful look at how simple tools and furniture carry memory, function, and the quiet beauty of use.
We’re happy we were able to bring home a few pieces of our own.
