A quiet and refined Katakuchi that reflects Iuchi’s sensitivity to form, proportion, and the tactile qualities of clay. The single-pour spout is shaped with understated elegance—neither too sharp nor overly defined—creating a natural, steady flow whether used for tea, sake, or dressing. The body is compact yet grounded, with subtle asymmetry that reveals the hand-built nature of the piece. Its soft, muted glaze carries gentle tonal shifts and micro-textures, inviting close inspection and rewarding daily use. This is a vessel that carries the calmness of Iuchi’s practice: functional, intimate, and quietly sculptural.
