Katakuchi by 大谷哲也 Tetsuya Otani
This all-white katakuchi by Tetsuya Otani (大谷哲也) combines minimalist elegance with exceptional craftsmanship. Though entirely white, the bowl’s surface has an incredibly fine, tactile texture, giving it a sense of depth and quality that feels almost like a different material.
It is both practical and refined, reflecting Otani’s philosophy of creating functional vessels that elevate daily rituals. Its purity of form and subtle surface detail make it a quiet statement of sophistication and craftsmanship.
