About the Artist
Takada Kae, born in 1971 in Nagoya, is a Japanese ceramic artist celebrated for her hand-built, organic forms. She studied product design at Nagoya Zokei University and trained in Seto before developing her distinctive approach to ceramics. Her work emphasizes the materiality of clay, embracing gentle irregularities and tactile textures that reflect the human touch, resulting in pieces that are both refined and quietly expressive.
